I've been using Reader Trends for months now. But until now, I've always had to manually go to a URL (http://www.google.com/reader/view/?page=trends) in my bookmark to see how I'm reading my 250+ feeds. Yay! One less bookmark. Here's a screenshot from my Trends. It shows you lots of information; such as which feeds you are reading, what % of feeds you read, when you are reading them (day of week, hour of the day), etc.
But my favorite part of the Trends is the "Inactive" feeds list. It shows you feeds that have not been updated recently so you can decide if you want to obsolete them or not.

Hey Thomas,
Until you mentioned it I had never seen the trends section. Google, doing what Google is good at i.e. "Statistics".
What I usually like about trends is that it usually gives a nice insight into behavior. But somehow, it is not half as much fun seeing trends of yourself. On the other hand, I am a big fan of Google analytics!
