I recently got in touch with Chris after spending a year with him at Cornell back in 2000 while we were both there for the 1 year masters program. He stayed behind for his PhD and eventually moved out to the Bay Area with his startup.
On the other hand, I don't personally know Niniane, but I've been reading her blog for a few years now.
Going through my feeds this evening, I came across the below pic! Woah, they know each other? (Niniane on the left and Chris is in the middle) Small world!
