We like zoos. Even this non-stop rain all week couldn't stop us from going to the Taipei Zoo.
At only NT$60 ($2) each, it's a bargain.
I uploaded about 50 more photos of the zoo into our "Taiwan 2008" Flickr set of us strolling in the nearly-empty zoo for 6 hours. The only other people there were school kids of various schools and grade levels on their field trips. Love being tourists and going to places while the rest of the country is working :-)
We also recorded a short video (40 seconds) of a very playful Sun Bear.
